Deccan Odyssey, one of the royal trains of the country, will run again after three years. Deccan Odyssey will be inaugurated at 1:30 pm on Thursday. The inaugural run of this train will be between CSMT and Thane.
Deccan Odyssey was launched in 2005 in association with Maharashtra State Tourism Development Corporation and Indian Railways. But in March 2020, the service of this train was interrupted during the corona and layoffs. After that the train was standing idle at Wadi Bandar, Dadar. However, over the past few months, many innovative changes have been made to the interior and exterior of this car. Therefore, Deccan Odyssey Train 2.0, which has been the center of attraction for tourists, will be reopened for tourists in a new form.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar will be present for the inauguration ceremony.
Features : Deccan Odyssey was given a facelift at Wadi Bunder yard of Central Railway. The train has 21 coaches and has luxurious interiors, royal restaurant, spa and lounge facilities.

1) Maharashtra Splendor - Mumbai CSMT - Nashik - Aurangabad - Pachora - Kolhapur - Margaon - Sawantwadi
2) Indian Journey - Mumbai CSMT-Vadodara-Udaipur-Jodhpur-Jaipur-Agra-Sawai Madhopur-Delhi
3) Indian Odyssey – Delhi – Sawai Madhopur – Agra – Jaipur – Udaipur – Vadodara – Mumbai CSMT
4) Heritage Odyssey -- Delhi-Agra-Sawai Madhopur-Udaipur-Jodhpur-Jaisalmer-Jaipur-Delhi
5) Culture Odyssey -- Delhi-Sawai Madhopur-Agra-Jaipur-Agra-Gwalior-Jhansi-Khajuraho-Varanasi-Delhi
6) Maharashtra Wild Trail--- Mumbai CSMT- Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad)-Ramtek-Varora-Pachora-Nashik-Mumbai CSMT
7) Darjeeling Mail- Mumbai CSMT-Vadodara-Udaipur-Sawai Madhopur-Jaipur-Agra-Benares-Siliguri
