The Western Railway (WR) has announced the closure of the staircase on the northern side of the middle foot over bridge (FOB) at Kandivali station's platform number 2/3 and 4 from September 22.
Releasing an official statement, the WR official stated: "In connection with the station improvement work of Kandivali station, the middle FOB is to be widened by 4 meters on north side. For widening work of this FOB, the north staircase at Platform No. 2/3 &4 will be dismantled. Therefore, for the same will remain closed from September 22, 2023 until further notice. Passengers can use the staircase on the south side of the FOB during construction period. Inconvenience caused is highly regretted by WR."
