Mount Mary fair at Bandra West is starting from September 10 and will continue till September 17. For the convenience of passengers visiting this fair, the BEST has decided to run 287 additional buses between Bandra Station (W) and Hill Road throughout the week.
On the occasion of the Mount Mary Fair, a large number of citizens come to Mount Mary Church and Father Agnel Ashram. Majority of citizens alight at Bandra station by local and from there reach the fair by Best bus. But it is not possible to run buses up to Mount Mary Church. As a result, additional buses released during the fair period will run between Bandra Railway Station (W) and Hill Road Park.
Along with this, additional buses will also be introduced on the regular bus routes of the BEST initiative from Bandra area. Bus inspectors and traffic officers will be appointed to guide and assist passengers in Bandra Station (W) and Mount Mary Church area on the occasion of the fair, officials of the BEST initiative said.
