CR Introduces Vistadome Coach in Mumbai-Karmali Tejas Express - See The First Run Here

Central Railways (CR) attaches o­ne vistadome coach to Mumbai-Karmali Tejas Express with effect from today, September 15, 2022. This is the second vistadome coach in Mumbai-Madgaon section. o­ne vistadome coach is already running o­n 12051/12052 Mumbai-Madgaon Janshatabdi Express.

CR is running five vistadome coaches and with the attachment of vistadome coach to Tejas Express, it will be 6 in all.  

They are: Mumbai-Madgaon Janshatabdi Express, Mumbai-Pune Deccan Express, Mumbai-Pune Deccan Queen, Mumbai-Pune Pragati Express, Pune-Secunderabad Shatabdi Express.

The vistadome coach will be attached to 22119/22120 Mumbai-Karmali Tejas Express from 15.9.2022 to 31.10.2022 (monsoon timings).

Bookings for this coach is already open at all computerized reservation centres and o­n website.

Extension of Tejas Express from Karmali to Madgaon Jn.

22119 Tejas Express leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 05.50 hrs with effect from 01.11.2022 every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and will arrive Madgaon at 14.40 hrs same day.  
22120 Tejas Express leaving from 1.11.2022 will leave Madgaon at 15.15 hrs (instead of Karmali at 14.40 hrs) every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 23.55 hrs same day.

Halts-Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kudal, Karmali

Composition – o­ne Vistadome coach, 11 AC chair car, o­ne AC Executive Chair Car and Two Luggage, generator cum brake vans.

Reservation: Bookings for the Tejas Express leaving CSMT/Madgaon w.e.f. 1.11.2022 will open from 17.9.2022 at all the computerised reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.

Note to Passengers:
• One AC Chair Car will be attached instead of Vistadome coach to Train No 22119 o­n 22.10.2022 and 29.10.2022 and Train No.22120 o­n 23.10.2022 and 30.10.2022 for waiting list passengers.
