Central Railways, Mumbai Division will operate Mega Block on Transharbour line for removal of RH girders for Subway at Km 36/09-36/11 between Thane and Airoli stations on Sunday, May 1, 2022, from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm
Dn Transharbour line services to Vashi / Nerul / Panvel leaving Thane from 10.20 am to 4.40 pm and Up Transharbour line services towards Thane leaving Panvel / Nerul / Vashi from 9.48 am to 4.19 pm will remain suspended.
There will be No Mega Block on the Main Line between CSMT – KYN and on Harbour Line between CSMT – Panvel/ Goregaon sections.
Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused due to this block. These special blocks are required for infrastructure upgrades.
On the other hand, to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment of the Western Railways, a Jumbo Block of four hours will be taken on UP Fast and 5th line from 23.15 hrs to 03.15 hrs during the intervening night of 30 April /01 May 2022 between Borivali and Andheri stations.
Therefore, there will be no block in the daytime over the Western Railway suburban section on Sunday,1 May 2022.
According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur –Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block period, all Fast line trains will be operated on Slow lines between Borivali and Andheri stations. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters.
