The Mumbai Metro One Private Ltd (MMOPL) will increase the number of services by 24 metro trains starting Monday, March 22 to make sure there’s an equal distribution of passengers and consequently avoid overcrowding in coaches.

“We will be running around 280 train trips as against 256 trips earlier. This will ensure creating additional space, ensuring better social distancing and increased travel comfort inside trains,” a Metro One official said.
