In order to make the journey of Mumbaikars more pleasant and comfortable, the bus fleet of the BEST initiative has been increased. 10 new electric air-conditioned single decker buses are being introduced from Mumbai Central depot. This bus 'A-351' has started running between Mumbai Central depot- Tata Power Centre.

The length of the bus is 12 metres and nominal bus fare will be charged from the passengers travelling in it. The BEST initiative has awarded the contract to Olectra to supply 2,100 buses. 30 buses have been supplied so far and the rest of the buses will be supplied soon, the BEST initiative expressed its belief.\
