The Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST), which is looking to commence the Hop-on Hop-Off (Ho Ho) electric, air-conditioned buses, has urged the citizens to partake in designing the buses, stated accounts.
The Ho Ho buses are slated to operate between CSMT and Juhu and cover some of the major tourist attractions that the city has to offer. On Tuesday, November 23, the BEST initiated the “Design Mumbai Ho Ho Bus Campaign”.
By the means of this campaign, citizens can participate to recommend the exterior designs of the buses. Those, looking to indulge in the same have been asked to send their design and artwork before November 30 to probestundertaking@gmail.com.
Based on accounts, officials have elaborated on how the initiative has been launched to connect the people with the new bus service, as well as, provide it with a localized appeal.
The Ho Ho bus service will be accessible every 30 minutes between 9 am and 8 pm. With a fare of INR 250, a traveller can get off at any stand.
After visiting the said tourist location, with the same ticket, the passenger will be permitted to board another bus on the same route. According to an official, there is an aggregate of 11 stops on the route with 19 tourist points.
