Mumbaikars get ready to experience a green revolution as Adani Electricity is powering Chartered Bikes in order to provide sustainable last-mile delivery solutions.

The delivery partners of all e-commerce, food aggregator and delivery platforms can use these electric two-wheelers operated by Chartered Bikes.

The delivery partners can use these bikes e-bikes even without a valid driving license, states reports. The speed limit of these e-bikes is restricted to 25 km per hour. 

At present, there are nearly 50 such e-bikes that are launched in the eastern suburbs of Powai. These e-bikes are placed near Torino Tower in Hiranandani gardens. The residents in that area will now receive emission-free deliveries.

An Adani spokesperson, while commenting on the same, said that the people in Mumbai will now be witnessing a green revolution with these Chartered e-bikes, powered by Adani electricity. Both of these companies are committed to scaling up this sustainable solution and are looking to paint the city green. 

Director of Chartered Speed limited,  Sanyam Gandhi, said that the bikes would help delivery partners save between INR 150-200 per day with an all-electric fleet. 

He further said that it is a win-win situation for delivery partners, mobility providers, and power distribution companies.
