Recruitment For 1664 Trainee Posts In North Central Railway

1664 trainee posts are set to be filled in the North Central Railway, for which the recruitment process has commenced for eligible candidates. The applications are to be made online, the last day to apply is September 01, 2021.

With a total of 1664 seats to be filled, the names of open positions include:

• Fitter
• Welder
• Armature Winder
• Machinist
• Carpenter
• Electrician
• Painter
• Mechanic
• Information Technology and Electronics System Maintenance
• Wireman
• Plumber
• Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronics Communication System
• Health Hygiene Inspector
• Multimedia and Web Page Designer
• MMTM
• Crane
• Draftsman- Architecture
• Stenographer-English
• Stenographer

The educational qualifications for a welder, wireman and carpenter include 8th pass and ITI. Whilst that for the remaining positions comprise 10th pass with 50% marks and ITI.

The age limit for these positions is 18-24 years as of September 01, 2021, but SC/ST and OBC get a 5- and 3-years discount, respectively.

Even though the examination fee is Rs 100, SC/ST/PWD and Women do not have to pay any fees. Similarly, the pay scale is as per rules for the job location of North Central Railway.
