A special traffic block will be taken up on the Kalyan to Ambernath section on the Central Railway. A block will be taken on Saturday night for the work of the pedestrian bridge at Ulhasnagar station. Therefore, 11:51 pm CSMT to Ambernath and 10:01 pm and 10:15 pm Ambernath to CSMT local trains have been cancelled. Also, the local schedule towards Karjat at night has been changed.
A night special traffic block has been taken up on the up and down route in the Kalyan-Ambernath section for shifting the pillars of the pedestrian bridge from platform no.1 to platform no.2 at Ulhasnagar station on the Central Railway and erecting them with hydra machines.
One hour block will be held on Saturday from 1:10 am to 2:10 am. Therefore, along with cancellation of some trains, Ambernath local departing from CSMT at 12.04 pm will run till Kurla. Also, the Karjat Local departing from CSMT at 12:25 am will halt at Kalyan station from 1:51 am to 2:10 am. Central Railway has informed that the traffic of freight trains will remain closed between Kalyan and Ambernath during the block period.
