Mumbai - The trial of the airconditioned local train has finally taken off on Thursday. It's been a good seven months that the train has been languishing in the Railways' Kurla car shed. Static trials of the train will now be conducted for a few weeks and then a dynamic trial will be conducted on the Trans-Harbour line. The AC local has been manufactured at Integral Coach Factory, Chennai. The route of the train is yet to be decided, but as per sources it will run between Thane - Vashi on the Trans-Harbour Line.
