Matunga – A unique awareness programme was organised at Sion Junction to teach traffic violators a lesson for their life. The traffic rules violators were given ‘tilgul’ ahead of the festival of Makar Sankranti. Matunga traffic police department had organised this programme under the Road Safety Week. Total 25 students of Ruia College and senior police inspector Bhushan Rane, police sub-inspector Prasad Sul and their team participated in this drive. The college students held placards in their hands to attract the attention of safety rules while driving on the road. They also staged a street play and made people aware of traffic rules.
