State Education Minister, Vinod Tawde was present in Mega Drivers Training Workshop helmed under Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) on Tuesday in BKC. If drivers pay attention while driving, they can save up to 20% fuel. A careless driver may cover 1000 km on 280 litres of diesel whereas an efficient driver would need only 250 litres. Thus he would consume 30 litres. PCRA highlights about the training program for the drivers in major transport fleets.
Vinod Tawde felicitated such type of efficient drivers who consumed required fuel to cover the destination. A rally was organised on Sunday in which 30 bike riders participated. Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum helped 21 children of 7 workers by providing Rs 5,000.
