Central Railway's (CR) Mumbai division has undertaken the work of revamping Wadala Road station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. For this, Indian Railways has given a budget of INR 23.02 crores.
Currently, progress is made on the station's roof work and beautification of its pillars, which is part of the station's makeover. Interestingly, digital advertisements will soon adorn these columns, aiming to increase non-fair revenue.
An official statement by Central Railway underlines its commitment to enhance passenger amenities. The ongoing renovation work is expected to be completed within a year.
