Western Railway conducted a special drive to catch passengers travelling without a ticket. The Western Railway has recovered 8 crores as the penalty in a month. The Western Railway Administration has registered a total of 1 lakh 97 thousand cases. In March, a penalty of 8 crores 63 lakh has been recovered from the passengers.

According to the rules of the Railway Board, there is a requirement of 1 TC for 500 passengers. The number of TCs is less compared to 40 lakh passengers on the Western Railway. According to the Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, this drive will continue as such.
