Built into the legendary landmark it is today, the iconic Pritam Restaurant is turning 80 on April 13. It was 1942 when the restaurant brought the wonders of slow cooking to the city and in the years since, the city has only shown appreciation.

With patrons by their side, the restaurant has aged like fine wine — and they're reviving the evocative charm of 1942 to mark this momentous occasion. Bringing back iconic dishes that have maintained their authenticity since '42, Pritam Restaurant is set to take you on a nostalgic trail set across the post-colonial flavors, traditional spirit, and the classic Pritam Restaurant hospitality.

Opening up on the journey across the years, Jaibir Singh Kohli of Pritam Restaurant and Bar, Dadar shares, "It's been a truly significant journey. When the restaurant initially took shape in 1942, it was but a little shop in the heart of Mumbai. Since then, it has grown monumentally and transformed into the brand we are familiar with today. Today, as we look back on the years that have passed, we experience nothing but pride - pride in our forefathers, our patrons, and our team. We're glad to be here today and certain the future will only be brighter".

At this grand celebration you can expect their classic curations from the 1942 menu - Signature Dal Makhani, Amritsari Chole Kulche, Baingan ka Bharta, Lasooni Palak, Murg Methi Bahaar, Dal Tadka Handewali, Purani Dilli Murg Shaan au Shaukat, Murg Bharta, Tandoori Chicken, Chaiji di Churi Roti.

With legacy and tradition donning the reigns at the event, you can be sure of an experience like no other.
