About the gig:-
The Social Seaside Jam is a Social gathering of musicians of all kinds, coming together to share their stories through their music.
It is open to all musicians to come up and take the stage.
Joel Padikkal
Bombay based musician, Joel Padikkal began his musical journey in early 2012.
After forming Blues - Rock project, The Tripp, Joel went on to play at multiple venues and festivals across the city and country, blueFROG, Mumbai, Hard Rock Cafe, Mumbai, The High Spirits Cafe, Pune and Sula Fest 17- 18 to name a few.
Joel is also the vocalist and front man for TWEAKD, an experimental Psychedelic Rock band as well as Jazz-Blues-Pop Duo, Joel & Desiree.
Showcasing a variety of vocal styles and guitar techniques, Joel plans to release his own music later this year
Astrid
Astrid Alphonso, has been singing and dancing professionally for 8 years. She has graduated as a choreographer, teacher and performer from Terence Lewis and been a member of the TLCDC for 5 years. Since then Astrid has moved on to performing as a vocalist for a bunch of bands. She is the lead vocalist of the well known cover band Wasabi Girls who have opened for Youtube star Vidya Vox . She is also the lead vocalist of her own collective Astrid and the Misfits and a few others bands in the city. Astrid has recently opened for jingle and bollywood queens Caralisa Monteiro and Mahalaxmi Iyer. She is currently starring in the musical Strangers in the night which has gained a lot of recognition all over Bombay. Astrid has also sung for many jingles and continues to perform all around the country with her band making heads turn with her soulful jazz, blues and Pop vibe.
