Grooming Babies will host their 6th edition of Dad-Child festival Under the Peepal Tree (UTPT) at the NCPA for dads/father figures (moms are always welcome), who are seeking a break from their hectic work schedule and wish to spend a day outdoors with their family, amidst art and culture, away from gadgets and creating happy memories. It is an open-air, culture inspired bonding festival, themed around the grassroots heritage of India. It brings an Indian state alive through
its culture, art, music, games and folklore traditions. This year the festival will highlight the state of Kerala.
The activities are:
Kerala Culture: Welcome dance of Kerala, children’s drama based on a Kerala folk tale, simulated children boat race, Kerala folk dance workshop, and Kerala drums.
Bonding Time: Parent-Child bonding through play, grassroots games and village board games.
Age Group: 3 to 13 years
Registration: Rs.300/- per child & Rs.300/- per parent
(There will also be Kerala-inspired workshops involving martial arts, creative art, handicraft and clay modelling that you may separately pay and register for at the venue as per your child’s preference. Each workshop fee ranges between Rs.100/- to Rs.250/-)
