Bandra - Today is Bakri-id, one of the most celebrated islamic festival. It is one of the most holiest festival of Islamic community and marks the end of annual religious and spiritual Hajj pilgrimage. In Mumbai at 8.00 am Sunni Muslims gathered in the Jama Masjid, Bandra to offer Namaz. Everybody hugged each other after Namaz was done. From young to senior citizens everyone was feeling jubiliant. To make the prayer hassle-free, strict bandobast of Mumbai Police in collaboration with Railway GRP officers was set up. Divisional ACP S.L.Kadam was also present at the mosque to give his best regards for Bakri-Id.
