After the one and a half days' Ganpati immersions, a lot of waste was stacked up near the Colaba beach. Mumbai Live covered the story and that certainly made a strong impact. 'A' ward administrators from the Municipal Corporation took charge of cleaning the waste amassed near the shore. Bulldozers were used to clean up the Colaba beach. The five days' Ganpati visarjan ceremony is next on the cards and adequate steps are being taken to keep the shore clean.
