Azad Maidan – Shiv Sena activist Venugopal Hanumant Kusuma has demanded an investigation into the death of a woman named Kamla Kalyani on 1st September at Nair Hospital. Venugopal said that Kamla Kalyani was suffering from piles. On 30th August Kamla was admitted for treatment in Nair Hospital. During the treatment, Kamla Kalyani passed away on 1st September. Regarding this, Venugopal wrote a letter to the Chief Minister and the Commissioner of Police.
