Goregaon - Beloved Bappa's immersion ceremony started last morning was over by wee hours of night, only few big ganpati mandals' idols were left to be immersed. The waste that is scattered on the road is left over, the procession proceeds, Bappa's idol is immersed & they go back, the waste remains as it is. Pahila Majha Kartavya Foundation workers took the initiative to clear the waste in Pandurang Wadi area, goregaon. Vada Pav stalls were set up for the devotees, they ate & threw it there itself. Foundation's volunteers cleared all the waste by the night itself.
