Bhandup residents now will get organic veggies at a low-cost price. This will be made available directly from the farmers market. National Agricultural Development with the help of Sahyadri Seva Pratishthan will be making these veggies accessible. Every Wednesday, Friday & Sunday, stalls of organic veggies will be set up at Bhandup from 8.30am to 2pm. Sahyadri Pratishthan’s president Hemendra Shringare added that the reason for the low price is the direct interaction between the farmer and the buyer.
