Andheri - Rahul Raj, Late Pratyusha’s former beau, is once again in the news. He is being held for assaulting an actress and her friend. The woman, who lodged a complaint, said that around 12.30 am, she and her friend were at Andheri’s Bora Bora restaurant when an argument broke out between her & Rahul Raj, following to which, Rahul beat her up.
The Amboli police station has filed a FIR under IPC sections of 354, 509, 504 & 34. “I am being framed in this whole incident. Some people are cashing in on my name to get publicity. The woman who said that I know her is absolutely bluffing. I don’t know her, rather I was seeing her for the first time” said Rahul Raj.
Mumbai police spokesperson Ashok Dudhe said that they are going through CCTV footage of Bora Bora restaurant for further investigation. For now, Rahul Raj & his friend Sahila Chadha has also filed a cross FIR against the actress and her friend claiming that they are innocent.
