Parel - Yuva Ekta Public Ganesh Utsav Mandal at Parel east, theme highlighted as ‘Selfie Point’. Mandal has innovated with various colors of umbrella outside the pandal. During 30years they are implementing the pandal theme with social awareness activities, informed by the Chairman of pandal Sagar Tiyurwade. This year, theme set as ‘BETI PADHAO BETI BACHAO’ which convey the message to the people along with the serious issue like female feticide. Mandal has set the images of women which has been introduced their bravery and courageous which consist of the most glorious Representatives of the country Indira Gandhi, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Famous singer Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Astronaut Sunita Williams, IPS Officer Kiran Bedi, Badminton player V.P Sindhu, Gymnastic Player Deepa Karmakar, Wrestler Sakshi Malik and Olympic-bound athlete Lalita Babar, made an attractive discussion topic among the citizens.
