Dange was a sincere leader and though he was a communist he somewhere supported Indira Gandhi,” said Sharad Pawar.

Former CM Sushil Kumar Shinde said ‘In 1926, Dange tried to be a member of Congress during a Faizapur aasembly and so he was somewhat a byproduct of congress.
