The lead of recently released film Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota actor Abhimanyu Dassani has bagged his second film and will be next seen in an action entertainer titled Nikamma. As per the announcement made today, the actor will be seen sharing the screen space with social media star Shirley Setia.
This film will mark Shirley’s Bollywood debut and will be directed by Sabbir Khan.
Talking about the same, the director said, “I am always going to try and introduce new talent to the industry and I am excited to present Abhimanyu and Shirley. They are a breath of fresh air and remind me of the zest that Tiger and Kriti had in their debuts.”
Talking about the same, Abhimanyu said that this genre of the film brings a whole set of challenges which make it exciting for him as an actor. Managing Director of Sony Pictures International Productions, Vivek Krishnani, further added that the film is a part of Sony’s larger vision for the Indian film industry.
Co-produced with Sony Pictures International Productions, Sabbir Khan's Nikamma is scheduled to release in 2020.
