After Alok Nath, popular television actor Rohit Roy has been accused of harassment by a journalist. The media person has shared a series of messages on the social media platform which accuse the actor of harassing her when she was 16. The journalist has shared the messages from an anonymous account.

However, while speaking to Bollywoodlife.com Rohit has denied the allegations. "I don't even know what to respond. What is sad is, that they are diluting the actual cause. I don't need why she had to write my name. I am not planning to do anything. I'm not commenting (anymore). I don't know what they will get. It'll just derail the other process. Even you shouldn't pay much heed to this", said Rohit.
In India, #MeToo started after actress Tanushree Dutta alleged harassment claim on Nana Patekar a few days ago. Actor-producer Vinta Nanda accused Alok Nath, after her actress Sandhya Mridul too shared her story. Singers Sona Mohapatra and Chinmayi Sripaada also alleged harassment allegations against Kailash Kher and Vairamuthu, respectively. Accusations are also imposed on ‘Queen’ director Vikas Bahl and actor Rajat Kapoor by their former colleagues.
