On Sunday, the Brihanmumbai municipal corporation declared Amitabh Bachchan’s residence ‘Jalsa’ declared as a containment zone.

 

Amitabh Bachchan took to twitter to inform everyone about him being tested positive for coronavirus. Later, Abhishek Bachchan was also tested positive for coronavirus. They both have mild symptoms and have been admitted in Nanavati Hospital and are being treated.

The BMC has put banner outside Jalsa stating that it is a containment zone. According to NDTV, Abdul Samad, head of critical care in Nanavati Hospital said, “Huge responsibility on our shoulders to treat biggest icon and his son, their condition is stable. They have mild symptoms and their vitals are under control.”

Amitabh Bachchan, in his twitter post had requested everyone who had come in his contact in the last 10 days to get themselves tested. Abhishek Bachchan on the other hand had requested everyone not to panic. Special prayers are being offered in Madhya Pradesh for the good health of Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and their daughter Aradhya Bachchan have also been tested positive for coronavirus.

This news has left their fans concerned for their health. People from Bollywood and fans are praying for their speedy recovery.

The total number of coronavirus cases in Maharashtra has surpassed the 8 lakh mark and more than 20 thousand people have died.
