The trailer of Kangana Ranaut's upcoming film 'Panga' has received a lot of love and views on social media. As per reports, the video shatters the trailer viewership of the biggest blockbusters and breaks the glass ceiling for films led by women.
Panga trailer gets an amazing response by garnering over 44 million views in a day, turning into the most viewed trailer of 2019. It gives a rousing tribute to living your dreams and giving them a second chance.
Talking about the same, Kangana expressed her feelings and said, "For me it's very welcoming to see that a film on a mother, which is about a mother being given a second chance, is getting such an extraordinary response from the audiences. I think it's high time that we encourage, support, co-operate and give respect to the working mothers.....the respect that they deserve."
Director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari further added, “It’s heartwarming to see so much love showered for Panga. It also makes me believe stories that are truly told from the heart resonate to an audience who is willing to accept us no matter who we are and where we come from. This is the new changing unapologetic India.”
Panga is produced by Fox Star Studios. The film also features Neena Gupta and Richa Chadda in pivotel roles. The film is slated for January 24, 2020 release.
