Actor Ali Fazal's mother passes away due to health issues

Bollywood actor Ali Fazal's mother passed away on June 17, 2020, and Ali's team shared information about the same with the media.

He took to Twitter share a message, which read, "I’ll live the rest of yours for you. Miss you Amma. Yahi tak thhaa humaara, pata nahi kyun. You were the source of my creativity. My everything. Aagey alfaaz nahi rahe. Love, Ali."

The statement released by his spokesperson, said, "It is with great sorrow we inform you that Ali Fazal’s mother passed away on the morning of June 17, 2020, in Lucknow after a quick succession of health complications. Her passing was sudden and we pray for her peace. Ali is grateful for the love and support of his fans in these testing times. A personal loss of this magnitude also needs silence. He requests his fans and the press for some privacy at this point."

Ali was born in Lucknow, but as per reports online, his family hails from Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. His father worked in the Middle East and he lived with his mother and his maternal grandparents, as his parents separated when he was 18. Ali has seldom spoken about his family in the media and also has also not shared much information about them on social media. Ali grew up in Lucknow and pursued his education from La Martiniere College and The Doon School in Dehra Dun.

He was last seen in 2019 film Milan Talkies and Netflix release House Arrest. In 2020, Ali will be seen in a film titled 'Death on the Nile.'  He also gained popularity from 2018 Amazon Prime video web series, Mirzapur.
