Shilpa Shetty's comeback film 'Hungama 2' gets release date; Watch the trailer here

The actress Shilpa Shetty will be seen in a movie after 14 years of sabbatical. She was last seen in Apne (2007). In addition, the film will mark Priyadarshan's return to Bollywood after an eight-year-long hiatus.

After 18 years, the sequel of the 2003 comedy film Hungama is all set to hit the screen on Disney plus Hotstar on July 23.

The trailer of 'Hungama 2', which was dropped by the makers on Thursday, is sure to take you on a laugh riot.

Just like its prequel, Hungama 2 promises limitless fun, entertainment and loads of confusion.

Actor Paresh Rawal reprised his role as Radheshyam and actress Shilpa Shetty, will play his attractive, young wife. The actress will be seen in a movie after 14 years of sabbatical. She was last seen in Apne (2007). In addition, the film will mark Priyadarshan's return to Bollywood after an eight-year-long hiatus.

Sharing the trailer on social media, Shilpa wrote: "Khatam hua aapka aur mera intezaar, Hungama 2 ka trailer lekar, laut aayi hoon main after 14 saal! It's double the fun, double the madness, double the Hungama to tickle your funny bones! Streaming from 23rd July."

You can catch the banter between two families - The Tiwaris that consist of a jealous husband and a gorgeous wife; and The Kapoors with a retired army colonel and his two sons and grandchildren. Chaos ensues when a young innocent girl with an illegitimate child shows up at the door.  So, the real question is -- Who is the father of this child?

Besides, the trailer also features a remixed version of the hit 90s song Chura Ke Dil Mera Goriya Chali, from the film Main Khiladi Tu Anari which was originally picturised on Shilpa Shetty and Akshay Kumar.

Apart from Shilpa Shetty and Paresh Rawal, the star cast of the film includes, Rajpal Yadav, Ashutosh Rana, Johnny Lever, Meezaan Jaffrey and Pranitha Subhash.

The film was slated to release in 2020, however, due to lockdown-like restrictions owing to the coronavirus pandemic, it got postponed.
