Kabir Khan's upcoming film '83' has been creating a buzz across India and is being touted to be the biggest sports film of the year. Recently, the real and reel squad of 83 visited Chennai and the official first look launch of the sports extravaganza took place with the media.

The team participated in fun activities which showed the spirit that everyone talks about when it comes to the team and also clicked some pictures with fans. The director Kabir Khan also spoke about the film. Taking it to their social media the makers tweeted, “An event which is unforgettable, a victory which is still celebrated by the country!
Touted to be the biggest sports film of all time, 83 is being co-produced by Madhu Mantena, Sajid Nadiadwala and Reliance Entertainment. The movie is based on the victory of the Indian cricket team in the Cricket World Cup 1983 lead by the all-rounder Kapil Dev.
The event was a delight for all the Bollywood and cricket fans as the audience was jumping with joy with the first look revealed and looking at the poster, we sure know that each character had worked extremely hard for it. From travelling in a bus with “Kapil’s devils” written all over it to dancing their hearts out amidst confetti, the event in Chennai was a blockbuster.
Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films present 83, a Kabir Khan Films Production. The film is produced by Deepika Padukone, Kabir Khan, Vishnu Induri, Sajid Nadiadwala, Phantom Films, Reliance Entertainment and 83 Film Ltd. 83 is directed by Kabir Khan. A Reliance Entertainment and PVR Pictures release slated on April 10, 2020 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
