"A kingdom is not built by a sword but the powerful hands that hold that sword!" This line alone gives an epic intensity to the recently released trailer of the Upendra, Kichcha Sudeep and Shriya Saran starrer 'Kabzaa' and co-producer Anand Pandit could not be happier with the massive audience response that the powerful dialogues and the gritty visuals are receiving.

Soon after the trailer of this Chandru directorial was launched on March 4 by Amitabh Bachchan, it garnered more than 12 million views  across various social media platforms, became one of the top three trends on Twitter and reached the number 6 position on YouTube India. 'Kabzaa' is currently rated as the most awaited film on IMDb.

Commenting on the accolades the trailer has received from trade experts and fans, Anand Pandit says, "At a time when entertainment is language agnostic, pan-Indian films are reaching a diverse audience, the euphoric response to Kabzaa's trailer is a very encouraging sign for us.  The fact that  I am foraying into the South-Indian industry with this epic, makes me really proud and happy.  Upendra, Kichcha Sudeep and Shriya and everyone in the cast and crew believes that  'Kabzaa' will be the next big thing in Indian cinema."

The trailer came close on the heels of the song, ‘Namaami Namaami’ featuring Shriya Saran which has already been viewed 2.8 million times in just two weeks. Says Pandit, "The  trailer gives the audience just a glimpse of the stunning scale of the film, its  journey through different times in India's history and the  elemental emotions of its characters  as they recount the story of the rise of the Indian gangster. "

Anand Pandit, widely known as a Midas Man after making successful films in Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati, is making his foray into the South-Indian industry for the first time with ‘Kabzaa' and says, "I have been fortunate to work with the best talents in Kannada industry. Be it director Chandru, or superstars like Sudeep, Upendra and Shriya or the extraordinary technical team, everyone has given more than a 100 percent to this film."

Pandit, who has co-produced the film with R. Chandru and Alankar Pandian. 'Kabzaa' which also stars prominent actors like Murali Sharma, Sunil Puranik, Posani Krishna Murali, and Pramod Shetty has graced the big screen on March 17.

Despite having a mega release in over 4,000 screens and in 5 languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada, the film has performed underwhelmingly at the box-office.
