Kangana Ranaut in a recent interaction spilled the beans on what her dream role will be. She revealed that she would like to be a part of a movie that is based on love-story of veteran actress Madhubala and Dilip Kumar. She wants to essay the role of Madhubala in this movie and wants Aamir Khan to be cast in the role of Dilip Kumar opposite her.

In the same conversation, she also mentioned that in the past too she had been offered to do the role of Madhubala. Notable filmmaker Anurag Basu was planning to make a biopic on Kishore Kumar in which Ranbir Kapoor was to play the lead and Kangana was offered to play Madhubala. However, she had turned down this role as she always refused doing films which do not give her enough or equal screen space as her male counterparts.

She added that she had been offered a role in Sanju too by Ranbir Kapoor but for the same reason she had turned it down as she did not want to do roles that have limited screen time.

Kangana Ranaut has worked with Anurag Basu in the past. They last worked together on the movie Kites which also stars Hrithik Roshan. Kangana was to reunite with Anurag Basu for Imali as well. This was supposed to be a sweet romantic movie with Rajkumar Rao to play Kangana's love interest but the same could not materialise.

In the same interaction, Kangana also mentioned that her only regret was not having got the chance to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali so far.

Kangana Ranaut was last seen in the movie Panga, in which she essays the role of a mother that wants to make a comeback in Kabadi. While the movie did not fly off but Kangana's performance was appreciated by many. Her upcoming movies include Dhakkad.
