In recent developments, on Wednesday, July 14, workers of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) were seen protesting outside the house of Amitabh Bachchan in Juhu with banners saying "show your big heart".

According to reports, the workers of MNS put up banners in front of Amitabh Bachchan's residence Pratiksha saying "Big B show your Big Heart" in order to help Mumbai’s civic body, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to widen the road of Sant Gyaneshwar Road'.

Moreover, MNS leader Manish Dhuri, who led the protest outside Pratiksha, said, “In 2017, BMC sent a notice to Amitabh Bachchan and other societies in the lane for road widening. All the societies cooperated, but not Big B.”

On the other hand, the civic body is reportedly gearing up to demolish the wall of Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow to widen the road. Parts of the properties are being demolished to enlarge the Sant Dnyaneshwar Marg. In addition, Aaditya Thackeray, Maharashtra Minister, and son of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has also urged for the road-work to be expedited, as it will help ease traffic congestion.

Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow, Prateeksha, has always been the centre of attraction for his fans in Mumbai. Several tourists often throng the gates of Pratiksha to get a glimpse of Big B. However, the demolition will change the appearance of the bungalow forever.
