In India entertainment is divided into two categories one is Bollywood movies and the other is Salman Khan movies, not because of the screenplay or content of the film but it’s the stardom which speaks. Fans go crazy when there is a Bhaijaan’s movie about to release. The bookings of the shows almost go houseful with fans whistling and roaring to each scene of Dabangg Khan throughout the film.

Salman’s fans worship and support him at every step and this reflects on the box office collections. The opening day collection of his film always states the star’s power, follows the weekend, the first week and later figures are just the combined results.

'Chulbul' Salman's career graph reached new heights with Sooraj Barjatya’s Maine Pyaar Kiya which is undoubtedly one of the biggest hits of his career. Girls were enthralled when they saw Salman in Hum Aapke Hain Koun as Prem; definitely one of the biggest family blockbusters till date. In the 90’s era, the actor was a part of hit movies like Saajan, Judwaa, Karan Arjun, Jeet Biwi No. 1, Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya. Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Hum Saath Saath Hain, and Baghan were said to be his best as per performance. Further, he did movies like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Baabul, Jaan-e-Mann, Yuvraj which apparently failed to create a magic at the box office. Later, Salman was back with a bang breaking all the previous box office records with Wanted, Dabangg, Bodyguard and Ek Tha Tiger.
