In the pool of mainstream cinemas, there are times when you come across a film which conveys a message and also makes you socially aware. Something on the similar lines you will get to watch in the upcoming film Gone Kesh which features talented actress Shweta Tripathi and TVF fame Jitendra Kumar in lead roles.

The comedy-drama film portrays the story of a teenage girl Enakshi (Shweta Tripathi) who aspires to become a dancer but is diagnosed with alopecia, a condition where one can suffer from sudden hair loss.

Talking about the movie in an exclusive interaction with Mumbai Live Shweta Tripathi said, “It is a very simple and sweet story about a girl who has many aspirations like becoming a dancer or traveling different places. It’s an actress’ dream to play such characters. There are so many posters that I have and will have of my films but no matter how my character might look, I'll always have hair in them. The basic groundwork for me was to understand what the disease is all about and what a patient goes through.”

Adding further Jitendra Kumar who is all set to mark his Bollywood debut with ‘Gone Kesh’ averred, “Initially I was a bit nervous but now looking at the amazing response that we are receiving from the audiences for the trailer it just feels great. I am happy to be associated with Gone Kesh.”
