Bank employees strike hard!

CST - Banking services were hit badly as the employees protest against 'privatisation and anti-employee policies of the banks'. Among the banks that are hit by the strike are State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank and Bank of Baroda.

Demands of the bank employees include -

• Compensation of bank employees and officers for extra hours they put in following demonetisation
• Early initiation of next wage revision
• Adequate recruitment in all cadres
• Criminal action against wilful defaulters
• Stern measures to recover loans
