Banks back to smooth operations

Mumbai- After the bank holiday observed on Monday for Guru Nanak Jayanti, banks started functioning smoothly on Tuesday. There was comparatively lesser rush for the banks on Tuesday and bank officials were seen giving importance to senior citizens and physically challenged persons who were visiting banks. People also heaved a sigh of relief as banks have increased the withdrawal limit up to Rs. 24,000.
