Mumbai- On one hand, BMC is accepting Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes while on other hand first appellate authority officer of BMC are not accepting these notes. RTI activist Anil Galgali experienced the same at Ghatkopar’s Citizen Facilitation Center where he was not allowed to pay Rs. 500 note for the RTI. Instead, he had to give the cheque of Rs. 286.
