Kandivali - Torn notes of Rs 1,000 were found in Charkop village. According to the eye-witnesses, around 2.30PM they went to answer nature's call and they found pieces of currency notes covered in mud and dirt.
The word spread like a wildfire, people came in and collected the notes and expressed their disgust against those who have thrown the notes.
Charkop Police reached the spot and collected two bags full of torn currency notes. Charkop police are probing further in the case.
