The leading vehicle manufacturing company 'Hyundai' has decided to invest INR 5000 crores in two phases in Pune. The suppliers of the company are also going to invest INR 4000 crores. Industry Minister Uday Samant informed on Saturday that the LG company will also invest INR 900 crores to produce foldable and transparent LED from Pune while expanding the industry.


A delegation of the Industries Department, led by Samant, went on a tour of South Korea to increase investment in the state. During this visit, a detailed discussion has been held with the leading companies there, and they have shown their readiness for substantial investment in the state. The company 'Hyundai' has decided to invest in Maharashtra and the company is going to invest five thousand crores in two phases till 2028. It will provide employment to 4500 people. Also their suppliers are going to invest 4 thousand crores. Samant said that the office bearers of the company have assured that the company will invest for expansion even after 2028.

'LG' company is also going to invest around INR 900 crores while expanding its industry in the state and is going to produce transparent and foldable TVs. Similarly, 'Samsung' company is also going to invest INR 500 crores to manufacture modern refrigerators in the state. He also informed that 'Lotte Wellfood', the leading ice cream manufacturing company, will invest INR 475 crores in the project in Pune, and another company has been given five acres of land required to start the industry in the state. Samant also informed that a delegation of import-export organisations of entrepreneurs from South Korea will soon come to the state.


Bullying will be broken

The government is committed to help every industry coming to the state. Those who cheat or exploit industries will no longer be cowed. He also informed that Chief Minister Shinde and himself have given orders to the police to break the bullying of those who are encroaching on the industries.


Affidavit to give justice to the employees of 'General Motors'

"Government will not ignore the employees of General Motors. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and I have discussed with the employees of this company, and the 'Hyundai' company must be started to give justice to the workers. Hyundai Company has taken over General Motors Company.” Uday Samant also said that a meeting will be held with the officials of the company soon.
