The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) recently released an important announcement for customers who use LPG Gas Cylinder, whereby authorities stated that the oil companies have decided to increase the price of LPG after the budget (Budget 2021).

As per reports, IOCL - country's largest oil marketing company, has hiked LPG prices on Thursday, February 4, 2021. The company shared the information about the same on the official website, which said that the price of non-subsidized LPG has been hiked by INR 25 in Mumbai and Delhi. Meanwhile, the price of commercial gas has been reduced by INR 6.

The price of 14.2 kg LPG was INR 694. After the hike, the price of non-subsidized LPG has gone up to INR 719 per cylinder. LPG prices change on the first day of every month, but as the budget was scheduled on February 1, 2021, the firm imposed no changes in the price on that day.
