Maharashtra Governor Inaugurates 4th World Trade Expo in Mumbai

Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais inaugurated the 4th World Trade Expo 2023 at World Trade Centre in Mumbai on Tue (3 Oct).

The Governor visited various country - stalls at the World Trade Expo which is focussing on Trade, Technology and Tourism. The two day Expo has been organised by the All India Association of Industries ( AIAI) in association with World Trade Centre, Mumbai.

30 countries participated

Dr. Vijay Kalantri, President of All India Association of Industries and Mumbai World Trade Center informed that 30 countries are participating in the World Trade Exhibition and five states are also participating in it. In the 'World Trade Expo', meetings and sessions have been organised on trade-trade cooperation and trade-government cooperation. He said that a skill training centre is also being run by the World Trade Center and many women are being given free skill training.



On this occasion, the Governor visited the stalls of various countries including Vietnam, Argentina, Ethiopia, Congo, Kenya, which were set up in the World Trade Exhibition and inquired with the trade representatives. 


Member of Parliament Rita Bahuguna Joshi, British Deputy High Commissioner of Britain for Western India Harjinder Kang, President of AIAI and President of World Trade Centre Mumbai Dr Vijay Kalantri, Vice President Capt. Somesh Batra, Executive. Director of WTC Rupa Naik, Counsuls General of various countries, captains of industries and trade representatives were present.
