Borivali – The smile was back on the faces of some Mumbaikars on Thursday morning when they exchanged their old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes at the banks. Many of them had received the new notes of Rs 2000 denomination. All this was the fallout of a Central government’s decision for currency demonetisation. As all banks were closed on Wednesday, and ATMs not working, people had to face inconvenience. If one has not yet exchanged the old notes with new ones, there is no need to panic. You still have one month’s time to get this done by showing your identity proof at the banks.
