According to the latest reports, on Tuesday, June 24, Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) signed a letter of intent with a private agency, The Fuel Delivery to curate mobile CNG stations in Mumbai

Based on accounts, an MGL official elaborated on how they are considering expanding the same across additional areas in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai through means of hopeful business partners. 

It has been reported that once the mobile refuelling unit is filled to capacity, it can refuel nearly 150 cars or 350 three-wheelers.

Narratives suggest that The Fuel Delivery in a statement elucidated that the round-the-clock service will offer its services to all 24x7 service will cater to all CNG-run auto-rickshaws, cabs, private and commercial vehicles, school buses and other vehicles that use CNG. 

Through means of this doorstep service, customers who use CNG will be able to refuel their vehicles without having to queue at CNG stations and spend hours there. 

The startup claims to have attained approval from MGL and to start with will operate two composite CNG dispensing units (CDUs) or mobile CNG stations in the city, reports stated.

It is anticipated that the service will begin in the arriving three months from Sion and Mahape in the city. In addition to this, the MGL's CDU has adhered to the processes and finished the trail runs after having attained the initial clearance from the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO) accounts mentioned.
