The year 2018 will mark many popular weddings in India. The new duo which as announced their date of a new journey is Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, who are all set to tie the knot in December. The daughter of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani will marry Swati and Ajay Piramal’s son. Anand and Isha have known each other for some time now and with this wedding, the friendship between the two families, which has lasted for over four decades, will take a new name.
After receiving his masters from Harvard Business School, Anand founded two firms in India. First is Piramal Realty, a company founded in 2012, which has been named as one of the largest private equity (PE) real estate investments in the country. He has also founded Piramal Swasthya which focuses on offering healthcare services to over 40,000 patients a day. He currently serves as the executive director of the Piramal Group.
Isha Ambani is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at Stanford University. Besides the degree, she also serves on the board of Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail, and is known to add youthful dynamism in the business.
As per reports, the groom-to-be proposed his bride in Mahabaleshwar, after which the duo celebrated the day with their parents, near and dear ones. No further information regarding the wedding or ceremonies has been revealed yet.
