On Monday, a 26-year-old miraculously escaped with minor injuries when an age-old tree fell on him near Panchpakhadi, Thane.

On Monday around 3:00 pm, a huge tree fell on Prashant Damble (26), a Majiwada resident, who escaped with minor injuries on his back. During the incident, two cars, a tempo, and a two-wheeler were damaged. After the incident, he was rushed to a private hospital and is now undergoing treatment.

Last year, on July 22, 2017, a similar incident was reported in Panchpakadi, where 38-year-old advocate Kishore Pawar lost his life.
Along with this, a tree fall was reported near Hiranandani Meadows, however, no loss of life or property damage was reported. In another incident, a two-wheeler was crushed at Lokmanya Nagar when a tree fell on it.
